The Compassion ministry is an outstretched hand to those in the Heartland community who are navigating financial difficulty. Compassion Team Volunteers will partner with you by offering encouragement, objectively in your situation, and practical steps to move forward through your circumstance. Freed-Up Financial Living

This six-week workshop teaches you to understand and apply biblical principles of money management and develop a personal spending plan in five financial areas of life (earning, giving, saving, debt and spending).

Freed-Up in Later Life

This one-night workshop is designed to help persons of all ages think through what later life might look like. It teaches biblical principles related to “retirement”, and provides the tools to develop a plan to prepare for later life, and the next steps to make the plan a reality.

Freed-Up from Debt

This one-night workshop is for those who are struggling with credit card or other consumer debt. It teaches biblical principles related to debt and provides the tools and encouragement to develop a plan to get out and stay out of debt.

This four week workshop is for those who find themselves unemployed or under employed. Topics include: God’s perspective on work, goal-setting techniques, interview skills, sharpening your resume, utilizing social networking in your job search, and more.
