Everything we do flows out of our love for Him. We gratefully follow His lead, as we attempt to live and love with the same kind of passion that He has for people.
Trust God.
We really believe that God is much bigger, smarter and stronger than we are, so we humbly surrender to His loving leadership. We are absolutely convinced of the reliability of our Heavenly Father and we trust Him.
Eliminate ego.
We believe there is value to everyone doing a little daily self-exploratory surgery and ruthlessly eliminate ego from our own lives. Left undetected, ego and pride destroys the health of any church, it kills relationships, damages families, and cheats us out of life. We are committed to be a place where we will continually humble ourselves before God and surrender to his leadership.
Live in grace and truth.
We are an all-inclusive, “me-too,” “no-perfect-people-allowed” kind of community. We build our lives on the rock-solid truth of God’s Word and live our lives dispensing the same amazing grace we have received.
Extend compassion.
Jesus was pretty clear about our response to the poor, forgotten, and hurting of our world. We live beyond ourselves and generously, even sacrificially, respond in ways that bring tangible help and hope to people in our community and around the world.
Become disciples.
A disciple is someone who believes in Jesus and seeks to follow him. We believe that a community of believers who consume God’s word daily, whose minds have been renewed by Him, and that put His word into action are the hope of our city and our world.
