Change for a Dollar: Harkins Memorial Foundation

Every weekend, the people at Heartland drop a dollar or more into the blue bottles around the mall and 100% of the donations we receive go right back out to the community.

This week $315.00 was gifted to the Harkins Memorial Foundation which was established in 2004 by Marva Brown who is the grandmother to James Lesley Harkins. James lost his life in a tragic drowning accident. Marva has established a fund to support families and assist with funeral costs associated with the death of a child.

Thank you for partnering with this great organization. Keep dropping those dollars in the buckets every weekend, and we’ll keep making change for a dollar together!
