The Power of Generosity…

Because of your generosity we are able to create helpful and engaging environments where children, students and adults are finding and following Jesus, and we are able to respond to the poor, forgotten and hurting people of our world.

Your generosity is making a difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

We believe that giving a tithe of all your income is a base-line goal for every Christ-follower. (The word “tithe” literally means tenth or 10%.) Tithing means giving ten percent of your income to God. It’s giving back what was His to begin with. We believe that all that we have, or hope to have, comes from God. Tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything, and it teaches us to always put God first in our lives. In Malachi 3:10, God says “Go ahead. I dare you. See if you can out-give me.” Some people dare to be extravagantly generous and give even more than 10%. So go ahead, put Him to the test and experience God’s generosity!

General Operating Fund: Donations to Heartland Community Church support its General Operating Fund. This fund makes possible the day-to-day ministries and services of the church.

Special funds: Periodically, opportunities to designate a donation to a specific ministry initiative become available. Compassion, a Night to Remember, and the Year-End Fund are three examples of ministry-initiative funds with specific start and end dates. To designate your contribution to a specific fund, simply indicate the name of the initiative (e.g., Compassion, NTR, or YEF) on the memo line of your check or on your envelope.

ADVNC is a team who serve our church with the Gift of Giving. This is an opportunity to invest your resources and wealth into speeding the vision and long-term goals of Heartland, helping us to create the ADVNC that we believe God is calling us to create.
