Wow! What an Awesome Gift!

That’s what Sherry Pitney, Executive Director of the Rockford Rescue Mission, wrote to us, or rather to you if you brought toilet paper to Heartland this September.

In all, Heartlanders donated 4,208 rolls of toilet paper to the mission. That’s a value of about $2,100.

Sherry wrote:

Your gifts help us care for hundreds of men, women and children who are homeless and struggling with some of life’s most difficult challenges… Thank you again for your kindness and compassion. Your generosity is truly a blessing to our ministry as we rescue, recover and restore broken lives. God bless you.
