Thousands of people have attended Marriage Matters at Heartland. Some of the married folks needed a few tools to help them through some tough times on their way to making their marriage better, and many marriages have been saved.

If you’re having marital issues or just want to make your marriage better, come to Marriage Matters. Or if you know someone who marriage needs some help, let them know about Marriage Matters. They don’t have to call Heartland their church home to attend. Here’s what to expect during this workshop:

Each session meets from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings. Participants sit at round tables for about an hour of teaching followed by a small group discussion. MM was originally designed for marriages that are struggling or even in the ditch, and still serves those marriages well. Many couples that had no hope come out of the workshop with renewed hope. But MM is also great for people who just want their marriages to be better, even for engaged couples. People are welcome to come by themselves if their spouse is unable or unwilling to attend with them.

There is no cost to attend, and childcare is available for a small fee. For many people there is a hesitation to admit their marriage is in trouble and a fear that they would show up the first night and it would just be them and a few other couples. It is often very helpful for them to hear that more than 3,000 people have been through Marriage Matters at Heartland, and each time we offer it, a couple hundred people attend.

Marriage Matters meets Tuesday nights at Heartland in the South Auditorium starting April 3.
