We get a lot of letters at Heartland. This is one that we thought we needed to share with you…

I have been blessed for over a decade to be a part of Heartland. In July 2015, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. In 2011, I lost my husband, who was my best friend, to a motorcycle accident. He was gone in a second. I do not know the outcome of my treatment, but I do know the outcome of my future home. I will stay on this side of heaven, or I will go home. The very best I can do is shine a light for someone to find their way to the foot of the cross. Your teachings are so deep in my thought process I need to say thank you. I could not walk this life without God. Nor would I want to. I am writing this because I want to thank you for your online sermons.

I am in isolation due to this treatment and risk of infection. When my soul needs nourishment the most, I am banned from the restaurant. So, thank you for providing take-out nourishment. In the dark of night, when I can’t sleep, and thoughts run wild, watching your sermons grounds me in my faith and my purpose.

Thank you,

Donna
