Every weekend the people of Heartland drop a dollar or more into the Change for a Dollar water bottles located throughout the mall. 100% of the donations we receive go right back out to the community, or sometimes around the world.
Because of your generosity, we raised $1,010.00 last weekend! That’s incredible! Those funds have been given to two great organizations.
The Ravines is a retreat center for marriages in crisis—where marriage struggles have become too much to bear. The Ravines has a Christ-centered, intensive counseling program that helps couples pick up the pieces of their broken marriage, and ultimately create a deeper and closer relationship. Heartland has a strong relationship with The Ravines and we have seen the life change happen first-hand. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with them with Change for a Dollar this week to help bring that life change to more couples every year.

Welsh Elementary School
Welsh Elementary School’s “Books for a Buck” program purchases books for the students with the goal of putting a new or gently used book in the hands of all of their 350 students. Welsh’s belief statement says:
At Welsh School, we are respectful when we use kind words, we are responsible when we work hard, and we are safe when we control ourselves.
Thank you for partnering with these two great organizations. Keep dropping your loose change in the buckets every weekend and we’ll keep making change together!
