Heartland believes that transformational community through a Growth Group is one of the most important things you can commit to. These groups meet together weekly and reflect on the weekend message through a series of 5 or 6 questions.  The purpose is to connect with God through spiritual conversation and build strong relationships in the process.  The next session of Growth Groups begin April 9th, and meet until Memorial day weekend.  If interested in joining, hosting, or leading a Growth Group, please contact our Director of Adult Ministries Ross Kaellner at .

Launch is Heartland's children's ministry. From the "Little Dippers" in the nursery to "Jet Pack" for 2nd and 3rd graders, Launch is all about launching kids on their spiritual journey. Launch is available during both services. Carbon, our pre-teen ministry (4th & 5th grade) is offered during the 9:00 a.m. service. Check in begins 15 minutes prior to services and ends 15 minutes after services begin. 

School's almost over and summer is quickly approaching.  This summer Heartland Delta & Engage Student Ministries will be taking the following trips.  Rockford Sharefest, June 23-24th, leave at 6pm Saturday and return 5:30pm Sunday, Cost is $25 per student plus food.  This is an opportunity for our students to partner with students from our Rockford campus to reach out to the Rockford community by cleaning up the Rockford schools (painting, cleaning, building, planting).  Camping Trip, July 26th-29th, cost is $80 per student, leave 10am Thursday and return 4pm Sunday.  This will be a fun event in which our students with enjoy spending time in the wilderness. Junior/Senior Rock Climbing Trip, August 8th, cost is $43 per student, leave at 8:30am and return by 4pm.  This trip is designed for our older students, it will be a team building event.  For more information regarding Heartland Student Ministries check us out on facebook http://www.facebook.com/deltaengage. 

All families of High School and Middle school students are invited to join us at the Delta and Engage annual schools out cookout! The event will take place at Heartland Wednesday, June 3rd from 6-8pm.  We are encouraging all parents and siblings of our students to join us as we play kickball, grill out, and give you a chance to meet other families with middle school and high school students.  Hope to see you there!

There is not much in life that can top the combination of quality chili, backyard games, and a low-key hangout at Heartland. This manly occasion will take place on Friday May 18th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the back parking lot of Heartland Community Church. Sign up at the Resource Center today as a cook, consumer, or both. There will be judges and prizes to stoke the intensity.  Bring a friend to this event where habanero peppers, hombres, and hearty competition will be in abundance!

Do you ever scratch your head after reading the Bible, trying to figure out exactly what it means?  If so, or if you have general questions about our faith, join us at Heartland on Tuesday, May 29th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for Frequently Asked Questions. This new event will be somewhat like an “open mic night,” where any and all questions about our faith will be fielded by Heartland’s pastoral staff.  Feel free to drop off questions you have in the basket at the Resource Center all month long.  This evening will be a great opportunity to explore Christianity, and gain clarity around those things you’ve always wondered about!

Do Something Now is an interactive ministry designed to connect you with opportunities to do something for each other, our city and the world. Each month we collect one item to donate to local organizations. This month's item is Bedding. Purchase what you can and then drop them off at the DSN area at any weekend service.  This is a great opportunity to give back to our community.
