We all do it. Get mad that is. Tantrums, yelling, cursing, slamming doors, squealing tires, throwing things, pouting, the silent treatment, the cold shoulder, are all different ways that we express...I mean "manage"...our anger. What if we actually could learn to manage this emotion in a healthy way? What if we could bring that raging fire under control? In this two part series we will apply God's truth to those times that we are "EN FUEGO!!"

Service Times Update
It has been a fantastic summer around Heartland, including the Summer Run service times. But as summer winds down we too will move back to a familiar routine. Beginning Sunday, August 29th, service times will switch back to 9:00am and 10:45am. We will also be beginning a great new series that day that you won't want to miss. So make sure to post a reminder someplace so you're sure to be there!
Volunteer Opportunity--Launch
We are launching kids into a relationship with Jesus through teaching, worship, and small groups every Sunday at both services. Launch is available for kids aged infant through 3rd grade....and there are a LOTS of kids!! We are looking for volunteers to serve on a once-every-three-weeks rotation at a check in station or in one of the rooms. Please contact Nicole Moll at if you are interested. Thank you!
Second Annual Men’s Golf Outing
Men: this is an event you do not want to miss! You might be a seasoned pro or have never stepped on a golf course before, either way, we just want you to be there! Please join us at Sun Prairie Golf Course on September 18th. There will be a 4-man scramble and a cookout afterwards. The cost is $32 each. Please contact Jack if you're interested at
New Ministry: Carbon
We are very excited about our new ministry for 4th and 5th graders called Carbon! Carbon will be offered each weekend at the 9:00am Sunday service only. 4th and 5th graders attending the 10:45am Sunday service will meet as G Force. Come check us out! Becoming--Women’s Study
Becoming will begin a new study this fall as we dive into the book of Esther. We will see how her story unfolds as God calls her to take some steps of courage and faith...and what we can learn from her example. Join us on Tuesday nights starting September 21st at 7:00pm. Register at Heartland during weekend services.
Heartland Carnival Celebration
Mark your calendars and save the date for Friday, September 10th. Our Heartland Carnival Celebration will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Heartland. Free Admission (but bring cash for concessions)! Invite your friends and family!
Do Something Now: Item of the Month
Do Something Now is an interactive ministry designed to connect you with opportunities to do something for each other, our city and the world. Each month we collect one item to donate to local organizations. This month's item is school supplies. Check out this list of needed school supplies, purchase what you can and then drop them off at the DSN area at any weekend service. Thanks for helping give back to our community!
